“The most striking deep black-red-purple wine we have ever produced, absolutely deep set in the glass and a rim of deep red.  As you lean forward you can already note the air has become perfumed, it is the most intense aroma that envelops the room – violets roar from the lip of the glass, and once the assault recedes with your senses taking a front row with all the berries flowing down -blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry, sweet dense loganberry and balancing cranberry.  Reluctantly you stop inhaling and then the first sip takes your breath away, a richness of flavour and wall of fine tannin that recedes into a oh so long length of brambles.  A beast of a wine.  Gorgeous in its delivery.  Wonderful.”
