"Blackberry, blackcurrant, boysenberry, pencils, perfume, black tea and baking spice. It’s medium to full-bodied, has plenty of black fruit flavour with some glimmers of raspberry, balanced acidity lends a little crunch and something of a ‘mineral’ quality, quite ferrous too, with lavish grainy tannin grip, and excellent length, closing with more sticky tannin and fragrant black tea. It’s a bold version of this wine, but gee, it really has something to offer and its point of difference this vintage is well worth investigating. Concentrated. Brooding.
